A healthy lawn needs more than just water and sunlight. Over time, soil naturally loses nutrients that grass depends on for deep roots and dense growth. Homeowners often call when they notice their lawn looking thin, pale, or patchy, even though they water regularly. That is a sign the soil is hungry.

We start by measuring your lawn's square footage to calculate the exact amount of fertilizer needed. Our crew loads a broadcast spreader with a slow-release granular blend that includes nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and iron. We walk the yard in overlapping passes to ensure even coverage, avoiding sidewalks and driveways to prevent runoff.

The cost of a fertilization job varies mainly with lawn size, but condition matters too. A lawn with heavy thatch or compacted soil may need a different blend or aeration first. Weather also plays a role: we cannot apply when rain is forecast within 24 hours because the granules need time to work into the soil without washing away.

On the day of service, our crew arrives with the spreader and pre-mixed fertilizer. We keep the spreader off hard surfaces to avoid staining. After application, we sweep any granules off pavement back onto the grass. You do not need to do anything beforehand, but we recommend watering lightly 24 hours after we leave to activate the fertilizer.
